Tata NANO.
TATA's prestigious NANO model car (A car for USD$2500 or 100,000 rupees) was unveiled at the 9th annual Auto Expo on January 10 2008 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, India.
It is dream to buy a car for majority of middle class Indians and as Nano is very well priced, middle class Indians have a chance to buy it.
TATA NANO is "People's Car" for Indians like Volkswagen's Beatle is "People's Car" for Germans and Rest of Europeans.
Hats off to the Ratan Tata (Chief of TATA group).
Ratan Tata, during an interview few years ago was asked by a group of journalists in India if he would deliver a reasonably priced car that is cheaper than Maruti 800. RATAN Tata took it as challenge and he made it. Until then, Maruti's 800 is the reasonable and cheapest car for Indians.
TATA NANO has much roomier than Maruti 800 inside. It striking looks really attracts buyers and it available in various colors. The base price is $2500 and depending on models the price may vary.
