First car memories

I remember the joy of buying my first car. I was 15, had a learners permit in my purse and $200 babysitting money saved up. I bought the first car I found for $200 that actually ran. It was a red 1972 Pontiac Catalina. Red is my favorite color and the rust spots almost matched the paint. My friends called it "The Beast" but they enjoyed my 16th birthday almost as much as I did.
